Classes
Currently we have two classrooms divided according to ages. Infants through two years old are placed in the nursery; 2-5 year olds are in the classroom next door. We abide by state guidelines for teacher-child ratios. As our group grows, we may add a third class.
Our older class uses “Hands on Bible Curriculum” to teach more about God and His love for us. Children in the nursery are sung to, played with, and encouraged in their next developmental steps. All children are prayed for regularly.
Check-In Procedures
Sign-in is at 9:15 a.m.
Please bring your child to his/her assigned classroom. Complete the sign-in form for your child, put on his/her nametag and make sure items are labeled. If you and your child are new to the group, we encourage you to arrive early to allow your child to become comfortable in the classroom.
Schedule
Here’s a general idea, but schedules will vary:
9:15-9:40 Welcome time and Station Activities (coloring, puzzles, books, blocks, beads, etc.)
9:40-10:15 Bible Story & Craft Time
10:15-10:30 Music, Singing, Games
10:30 Snack- Bathroom break, Wash hands, Prayer
10:45-11:00 Outdoor Play
11:00-11:20 Discovery Activity (playdough, dress-up, etc.)
11:20 Clean-up/ Closing Activity (coloring sheet, etc)
