What is MOPS?

MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers) is a program for moms of children ages 0-5. MOPS gives moms a time and place to be nurtured through teaching, friendships, and fun. MOPS groups are hosted in local churches and affiliated with MOPS International.

What happens at a typical MOPS meeting?

A typical MOPS meeting includes a speaker, a time for small group discussion, and a creative activity. Topics include a range of issues relevant to motherhood, marriage, and life in general.

What about my kids?

During MOPS meetings, the children are cared for in their own MOPPETS program. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers, and age-appropriate activities are provided in classrooms for the 2-5 year olds. Mothers are also welcome to keep their babies with them during MOPS meetings at their own discretion.

What does it cost to become a member?

The registration fee for our group is $50 / semester. This covers the cost of childcare, materials, and membership in MOPS International. Partial scholarships are available if the cost is a hardship for your family. Additionally, moms may choose to pay on a week-by-week basis, at the cost of $10  / meeting.
